Is there a way to use the mbm plugin without having to have mbm open and running all the time? the plugin just displays 0 until I open mbm then it gets my temps.

No, you need MBM running all the time, That's where the Mother Board Monitor plugin gets it's data from. :S

Ahh thats a bummer. With coolmon you didn't have to have mbm running just had to have it installed oh well guess you cant win em all
