In the New Mail Notification panel, when I choose an (unanimated) icon, I seem to be restricted to Windows ico format icons, and can't see a way to use any of the png files that show up so beautifully in the taskbar as my main icons (thanks, Yuri!). Would it be possible in the next revision of Mail Monitor to make it possible to use pngs as well as icos as the notify icon?

I'll add PNG support there. Right now you can select "Animation" and select your PNG icon. The single icon works like animation with single frame
