Hi,

How about a plugin that allows you to change the default Sound Playback and Sound Recording devices.
I use a USB headseat for gaming and voip and I have to go to the "Sound and Audio Devices Properties" every time I want to switch devices (From standard audio connection to usb).

So I was thinking... when you left click on the new plugin, a menu should popup that gives you the option to Sound Playback and Sound Recording. By clicking either of them it should show you the current devices (with a checkmark next to the current default one). You should then be able to chose the default.

What do you think? I would use it all the time :-)

Hello tracker and welcome to the True Launch Bar forum. If you are using Windows XP and perhaps others you can create a shortcut in TLB by right-clicking anywhere in your TLB and then click on New>Shortcut. In the first box type control mmsys.cpl,@0,2 and click Next. Type a name and then click Finish.

Try it out and see how this works for you. Perhaps not as sophisticated as you wish but practically does the job, eh?

Quite welcome! Other shortcuts can be created for most windows within the Control Panel applets as well.
