Full Version: Bug with Multiple monitors + Hot Key to show TLB

OS Windows XP SP3 Pro Eng.
I've got 2 monitors attached side by side.
Primary one in on the left, secondary - on the right.
I have TLB 4.3 started in the explorer process. (opened TLB on the taskbar as separate toolbar using the standard windows toolbar)
Attached this toolbar to the top of the primary monitor, Autohide is on.

When I switch off secondary monitor (using standard Windows feature) TLB stops paint itself on toolbar.
I see transparent area inside toolbar when it slides from the top.
If I turn on the secondary monitor everything works fine.
No OS restarts during switching off/on were made.

After OS restart TLB works fine with one and two monitors.

Standalone version has no such bug, BUT I found no way to set a shortcut (I need "Crtl + `") to show standalone toolbar from keyboard. For standard toolbar I set "Сommand line" plugin and assigned a hot key so I can press "Crtl + `" to activate this plugin and toolbar appears. Standalone version doesn't appear on key press.

I know user can set Hot key for the menu but I have two troubles:

1) I can't set exactly Ctrl + ` (TLB prevents from entering this sequence)
I've removed Command line shortcut, but it doesn't help.

2) If I set another shortcut, then a menu appears on key press, but I need just a Toolbar to be shown. I've got some buttons placed on toolbar itself, so i don't need any menu to be displayed.

This is extremely useful to have a shortcut when I use Auto hide = on, Always on top = Off, because any maximized window prevents from showing of a toolbar.

Please fix or give a workaround so I can use toolbar and show it with a hot key.

Thanx.
I've reproduced the bug. But this looks like the Windows bug. I get the same bug with the standard Quick Launch toolbar. I'll updated the standalone TLB and add the activate toolbar hotkey - this all I can do

Thanks Yuri.
This will be enough.
Please let me know when it can be tested.
Hope this won't take much time to implement.

P.S.
Probably there can be found a workaround to fix Windows bug.:-)
Here is the updated tlbHost. This version will work right with the command line plugin. I'll add the activate toolbar hotkey into the TLB Settings in the next TLB version.
Thank you!
I've tested and it works with CMD Line plugin.
Waiting for a new version to get Hot Key for TLB itself.
tlbHost has a big memory leak.
I've got about 1.5 Gb leak per day .

It can be seen in Task Manages - Processes tab.
When bar is visible it increases memotry usage about 20-40 Kb per second.
Probably it is a plugin bug but before update I had no such leaks (or I didn't noticed).
As well when it auto-hides memory still increases.
I've attached video with the line form from "Task Manager".
Process name, User, CPU Usage, Memory Usage.

If you need any info - please ask.
Hmm... I don't see memory leaks here. Please can you post the screenshot of your toolbar and tell me what plugins are on the toolbar? I sure this is not because of tlbHost. I've changed two code lines only that are not related to the memory allocation.
I've made some tests with plugins.
It was RSS reader plugin. Removed it and leak disappeared.
Thanks.
I've found the bug in the News Reader. I'll publish update shortly. Thank you.
News reader updated. Please can you test it?
Installed a new one.
I'll keep watching for a couple of days and if something wrong I'll tell you.
Thanks.
