Does Tordex Wheel work on the Win 7 final release? If not, can it be fixed? This utility is too brilliant to let fall by the wayside.

Yes, it is compatible.

Excellent! However, I found a reason to uninstall it, sadly. It does not allow for certain programs to be excluded like 'KatMouse' does. I use BitComet 0.70 and it is incompatible with Tordex Wheel, with KatMouse I can exclude it.

I love this utility, but I don't see that it works in Vista/Win7, since Windows Explorer as one of the apps I use it with does not scroll the pane where the cursor is over like it used to in WinXP-- the mouse wheel only scrolls the active selected pane.

Can I confirm that there isn't a new version of Tordex Wheel after 1.0, and that this same version does work with both 32 and 64-bit Win7?
Tordex Wheel after 1.0 is the latest version. I'm personally using it on Win7 x64 system. Also I've tested it on 32 bit systems (Win7 and Vista).

Tordex Wheel can conflict with some other software that hooks the mouse. Maybe some software installed with mouse drivers?

Ahh. OK, seems that's my issue. Thanks for pointing that out. Cheers!
I might just add that Tordex Wheel disables the Win 7 shortcut of Ctr+scroll wheel to resize the desktop icons. But apart from that I haven't found any conflicts.

General advice: perhaps learn Processing on your old box. From experience, I know it works fine on old systems.
With some experience, you will be ready to try and run on Win7/64 and see if there are specific issues.
If there are or not, you are welcome to share your experience here.
Is there any way to have TW not do anything if the ctrl key is down?

I have a lot of applications where I use ctrl+Scroll (zoom in/zoom out)...with TW loaded, it doesn't work right.

Thanks
