I wonder if with START KILLER and PRESSTART a new tool
TRAYKILLER could be made that would remove the system tray.

Just about all items can be placed on True Launch Bar so perhaps this would be a good new small tool.

I for one would like that if it would be possible

and mr kobets has said he will make this available when there is an acompanying plugin for TLB

You can remove the system tray with Microsoft's TweakUI ("hide notification icons").
