I just installed version 4.4.13 RC5 but i cannot rename menupoint text anymore.
i checked all security settings - all ok.
If i right click a menupoint - rename - that menupoint is highlighted but deleting letters or add letters does not work.

What is your windows version?

Try to turn of the option "Rename items in-place if possible" in TLB Settings->Options->General

System: Windows 7 Ultimate

the option: "Rename items in-place if possible" is marked.

I just tried to rename directly in TB folder : user\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch"
- if i rename (change)there - it works

You have to turn off this option. When this option is off, TLB will show dialog box to rename items.

Other question is why you can't to rename items in-place hock: Maybe some other software cause the problem? Do you use something like auto switchers of the keyboard layout (language). Or something other that can intersect the text boxes?
