Is anyone using this? Any probs? Comments welcome.
I also have an "extension" makes the pressed state of the tile tilt left, right, up, down or random. See attachment.
caveat: obviously it can't tilt according to the tile edge pressed like the W8 CP start page tiles.
This is excellent idea! M8 Tile Editor is the first TLB based application. I have even not thought that this possible to make with TLB. Great work!
Now what problems I've found:
1. M8 Tile Editor works only for Administrators and UAC must be turned off. This is my fault, I have to move the TLB skins out off the Program Files.
2. M8 Tile Editor saves the PNG images into incorrect place. It is correctly to save PNG's into ~~images~~\btnimages, but the folder "~~images~~" must be located in the root of toolbar. Currently M8 Tile Editor saves the PNG into the same folder where the shortcut is located.
Thanks Yuri, I find it useful.
Are you talking about the save folder when you click the Save button? If so it's just a folder to keep a copy of the image, not use it directly.
The Use button however should be locating the correct toolbar in which to save the image - [toolbarfolder]/~~images~~/btnimages. At least that's how I coded it.
It should also set the iconLocation correctly when the source button is in a virtual folder or workspace.
I've prepared the video:
tlbdata.xml is updated correctly. But script don't find the toolbar folder correctly. As you can see the ~~images~~ folder was created in the menu.
Now working - uploaded updated skinslib
Thank you. Now working fine.
