Some of my standalone toolbars arrange items in alphabetical order. But some do not. I cannot figure out why.
To arrannge the items, right-click the menu or the toolbar and select Arrange Icons By menu. Here you can select the sort criteria, auto-arrange and some other options.
Also you ca set the auto arrange option in the Customizes (sum)menu.
I am not referring to a menu. I am referring to a toolbar. Right clicking does not show any Arrange Icons By choice.
Right-click any toolbar button. If the context menu item is not there. Hold down CTRL+SHIFT then right-click. This will show the standard menu. Maybe you are using the simplified context menu template.
