Received a BitsDuJour email flyer today, Friday, 20th September 2013, USA Summer Time that featured True Launch Bar.

The page omits compatibility with Windows 8. Perhaps you can still emend that.

I left a comment, mentioning compatibility with the Desktop side of Eight.
