Possibility for Tabbed Dock (standalone bar)?
Just to be clear what i am talking about.

I use bar on desktop instead of just icons placed on it. This way, using bar with 2 tabs i can place x2 icons in 1 row/column. Adding other tabs i can increase N° of item and save space on desktop.

This seems like a fine idea. Hopefully it will not take a great deal of effort to implement.

Hmm... tabs for Standalone TLB... this can be interesting

TLB pretty much already has this feature. Each toolbar can have lots of separators. Each separator can have a title. Each separator can have "enable expand/collapse" selected. That gives you a layout pretty close to tabs. Click on the title of the separator, and the area collapses. Click on the title again, and the area is restored. If you keep all of the titles in collapse mode, it is very much like having tabs.
