If you use or plan to use Core Temp, do note that the actuall application needed for it (Not by Tordex) now comes packed with malware.

I'm not talking about the optional ones one can decline, it comes with at least 3 different malwares it silently installs, among them being mystartsearch and they're a pain to get rid of.

Unfortunately you are right, the installer have some crapware
I can recommend download the "The standalone version of Core Temp" (click "More Downloads" on the core temp app home page) - this package have an application only.
