I have standard TrueLaunch.
it starts at startup.

I now have portable,and want to turn OFF TrueLaunch (not uninstall yet)

how to STOP it from turning on at startup? I can't find it in registry or in the startup folder, but it is on the quicklaunch bar at startup

Same way as you've turned is on. Right-click the taskbar, select "Toolbars" and click the "True Launch Bar" menu item with check mark. Look the attached screenshot.
