Full Version: Formatting not holding?

I wanted to set just the top level of my start menu to multi-column, but it kept causing all the subfolders to go multi-column as well. So I went back to just having a single column.

But then, when I installed new software, the start menu folder went multi-column.

Is there something I forgot to disable or turn off?
