So I just move the .tlbplugin off the taskbar and sure enough Windows Explorer crashes.

Thank you for file. I've places it on my taskbar and try to reproduce the bug.
Please can you install this version? I've updated the libcurl module. Maybe this will help.

Ok I installed News Reader 3.4.1
I will report back if and when it freezes again.

Just wanted to let you know that I have not had any freezing or crashing since installing News Reader 3.4.1
So I think you have fixed it.
