Thanks HorusUK, but actually figured that out by going to the following link : http://uk.weather.com/search....etter=A and then if you hover over the city of your choice, at the bottom of the IE display it actually shows you the UKxxxxx value. Simply substitue this in the properties box. Kewl !!!

Is there A bug in the Plugin ?
German Cities work not correctly
Stuttgart GMXX0128 Leipzig GMXX0072 no prob
München GMXX1002 or Garching GMXX2279 does not work :=(
is the first digit after X the prob because its not 0 ???

There's no bug in the plugin. The Weather.com XML feed does not exist for the GMXX1002 or GMXX2279 codes.

I have been able to find a München feed in the Germany list on uk.weather.com. This shows München (Munich) as GMXX0087 although Garching isn't listed. Sad

If you use the method described by south-park (above), you'll soon be able to get weather feeds for any of the listed German cities.

This is possible up to 10 days. But I must ask permisions for this but guys from weather.com do not answer me Sad I'll try again... right now only by editing dll you can add some days Wink but this is unsupported Wink

Hi. 1st post for me. I am french so my english could not be as english as it does Wink (hum, i hope that means something)

I run Win XP sp1 with style XP for skin.
I discover TLB and find it cool & light. I ve installed last version & plugins
I like screenshot of plugin weather forecast but it doesn t run well for my pc : the tip open a little flicking balloon where write some "Ëÿ#$".
Nevertheless, tips of plugin weather monitor runs well but i prefer tips of wf for the weather pics :/

First, bravo. I have not been able to get Weather Monitor to work in ages (my icons don't show, no matter what I do), so i installed Forecast instead and love it. But, I must be the only one having problems with this plugin! I have two issues.

First, it appears on the TLB no problem...but it refuses to check for updates in less than 30 minute increments. No matter what I change it to (I personally like 10 minute increments), it always reverts back to 30 minutes.

Second, please excuse me if this is stated somewhere and I just haven't found it yet, but can you use other weather skins on it besides the default 16 and default 32? I've installed the skins I like into the correct folder (the same pathway as I installed them for Monitor) and I've rebooted, but I still only get default 16 and default 32.

Any ideas?

Edited to add I just upgraded to TLB v3.0.

Weather.com restricts how often applications like this one can check the XML feed. Even if Weather Forecast was alowed to check more often, the XML feed is only updated every half hour or so.

Weather Monitor skins are not compatible with Weather Forecast. As far as I know, nobody has released any skins for Weather Forceast yet.

We can assist with the Weather Monitor plugin for you. We are glad you have Weather Forecast running and like it but if you want to have a Weather Monitor as well then just let us know. There are many, many skins available showing minimal information all the way to too much information! Have you seen the skins on the WM skins pages?

Just let us know your desires and we will work to accomplish them.

I'm developing a Weather Forecast skin but it's summer here and Real Life™, the pleasant weather, lots of gigs, and last but not least, Mrs HorusUK, are all conspiring to limit the time I can spend on it now. Big Grin

Okay, at least I now know I'm not going crazy...there are no skins for Forcast yet and it only updates every 30 minutes!

Too funny. I came here looking to see if Weather Monitor skins could be used on Weather Forecast...and I had to laugh...I had already been here and asked that months ago! :lol: I had to do a fresh windows install so I'm reconfiguring my system!
