If nothing else helps, you can try to move the settings from the other computer where TLB loading after restart. The registry key where Windows store information about toolbars is:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Desktop

You can use regedit to make the backup of this key and restore it on your computer. The only thing you must know - the Windows version and the user name must be the same. If user name will be different then the path to the toolbar will be incorrect.

If you want I can prepare the registry keys for you. Just send the the screenshot of your toolbar and the path of the toolbar folder. Also tell me what Windows version you are using.

Please can you post the screenshot of the Toolbars menu? Also is the XP 32-bit?

- Nutshell69 - 07-27-2009

The toolbars menu looking well. Is there any message when you select "True Launch Bar..."? Is the standalone TLB working? You can find standalone TLB in the Start->All Programs->True Launch Bar.

Do you use the UltraMon?

- Nutshell69 - 07-27-2009

No - there is no message that pops up or anything that I can see (checked eventvwr logs too - nothing there)

Yes - the Standalone is working - but I have to stick it in an unusual place (if I put it on the bottom - and hide - it doesnt behave well ).

No - I dont use Ultramon.

Thanks for the responses.

I'd hate to have to abandon this wonderful utility - but I cant work with the standalone launcher.

If anyone cant think of something else I should look at - please let me know

reverting to ObjectDock Plus in the meantime Sad

Nutshell69, I'm trying to reproduce the bug with the registry changes, but without success Sad

Please try this:
Run the gpedit.msc and find:
User Configuration->Administrative Templates->Desktop

The setting at the right side named "Prevent adding, dragging, dropping and closing the Taskbar's toolbars"

Double click this setting and set it into "Enabled", press OK, then double click it again and set it into disabled or not configured.

BTW, Is this possible to open other toolbars? Links or Address?

- Nutshell69 - 07-30-2009

tried your suggestion - didnt kick it in Sad

yes ... i can add any other toolbar i want

- Nutshell69 - 08-06-2009

Just for testing: can you create other account on XP and try to open TLB there?

Corporate??? Maybe the system administrator of your corporate network disabled the toolbars? This is possble by using group policy.
