Any one ever notices when trying to open file or folder it takes a lot of time to open the file?
For example I set "menu" for (My Documents with out any expanded options, just click to open up the folder). Each time I do that, I have to wait more than 10+, sometimes I have to wait for more that 1/2 a min?
Am i missing something here?

A quick search of the forum throws up a couple of suggestions on this...
Look here and here as it's probably related to background loading of folders.
If that doesn't help, post further details here!

Are any of your shortcuts pointing to anything on the network? There is a problem with version 3.1 that causes a very long delay (about 30 seconds) before displaying the menu if the menu contains at least one shortcut to a network drive (whether it is a shortcut to a mapped drive or to a share).
Background loading has got nothing to do with it -- all that does is let you keep using your computer while it loads. In other words, turn it on!
