Mail Monitor v1.16.1 beta - Date Sorting - Sam Hasler - 12-15-2004 Date sorting appears to be inconsistent. I've seen marking something as read change the sort order. I haven't managed to pin it down precisely but I think there may be several factors involved including: timezones (e.g. dates ending with -0800 or +0800), having Mail Monitor open during midnight, downloading the body of the message. - Sam Hasler - 12-17-2004 Found another problem with sorting. Marking mails as read changes the sorting order. The dates from the headers are: Date: 17 Dec 2004 15:22:39 -0000 Date: 17 Dec 2004 15:22:39 -0000 Date: Thu, 16 Dec 2004 20:18:33 -0800 Date: Wed, 15 Dec 2004 12:54:10 -0700 and they get sorted like this: - Yuri Kobets - 12-17-2004 Thank you very much for bug report. I'll fix this bug in the next version. - Sam Hasler - 11-26-2005 This still isn't fixed in the 1.16 beta This has been noted by tb in the Mail Monitor v1.16 beta thread but I thought I'd bump this thread as well. - Sam Hasler - 12-28-2005 Changed the thread to title to be v1.16.1 beta. |
