64 Bit Support for win2k3/xp (x64) - GhostFace - 01-17-2005 Last week I found this product and I am now testing the demo. So far I am very pleased with it. The only thing is I was about the change from xp to xp x64 edition. True Launch Bar simply doesn't work on 64 bit because shell integrations need to be 64 bit. Thats why I wanna ask if there will be a 64bit edition and when can we expect it. No doubt there will be more users with the same question. If a 64 bit version will be releases shortly I am gonne buy this program for sure. Best shell enhancement ever - zoryn - 02-24-2005 i second that.. true launch bar is my favorite program, and it's a pity that there's no 64bit version out yet (not even a beta), and that there was no response to this thread in more than a month - Yuri Kobets - 02-24-2005 TLB64 in work - GhostFace - 02-24-2005 Finnaly some response. Hope it will be available soon because. Great! - zoryn - 02-25-2005 great news.. im guessing no ETAs though, right? - Q Section - 02-26-2005 For the record - we are also interested in a 64 bit version of TLB using the AMD Athlon64 TOLEDO dual-core CPU. - IceCaveman - 03-30-2005 The RC2 of XP x64 is so stable I no longer use the x86 version. When do you expect your x64 TLB? - Yuri Kobets - 03-30-2005 I cannot say exactly when too many problems with porting to 64 bit. - tulip - 04-06-2005 Yuri Kobets Wrote:I cannot say exactly when too many problems with porting to 64 bit. Hey Yuri Any news about 64bit - IceCaveman - 04-20-2005 There must be some way to run the Explorer shell in 32bit mode since Internet Explorer has 32bit mode. At least when I start 32bit Internet Explorer I can use 32bit extensions and browse system folders such as mobile devices that are inaccessible in 64bit mode. There are no benefits from running explorer in 64bit mode anyway. - Yuri Kobets - 04-21-2005 As I see there are two IE's one 32bit and the second 64bit. But there are no 32bit Windows Explorer. I hope soon TLB64 will be released. - TheGiantJax - 05-27-2005 There is a way to make 32bit windows explorer work on XP x64 edition, infact, there is a 32bit explorer included with x64. Here's a tutorial that explains it on Extended64 http://www.extended64.com/blogs/bhpaddock/archive/2005/05/22/539.aspx I don't even run the beta, but I saw this the other day - depl0y - 07-07-2005 just a small kick to see if there is any progress, installed XP x64 yesterday and my fav tool doesn't work . Hope you got some progress on it - Kiwi - 07-08-2005 Just another small nudge from here as well.. I am really missing the true launch bar from my task bar.. (Amazing how much you come to depend on something like that...) But x64 is soo stable and fast that I cannot bring myself to get rid of it and reinstall normal XP... ** Raises hands into the clouds as a volunteer incase any are needed to test before release ** - Yuri Kobets - 07-10-2005 If all will be ok TLB64 (pre-beta) will be released during the next week.
