Save and restore virtual folders settings - txl - 06-14-2006
Hello,
I have a virtual folder for the programs installed and everytime there is a small problem like clicking and moving the icon to the desktop all the settings are lost, I end up with a folder containing 3 files including a tbldata.xml but how can I restore the cinfig without having to redo it again everytime ?

Just move that folder back to TLB and all must be restored.
BTW maybe the button locking will help you to avoid this problem?

Hello Yuri,
Dragging the folder back to the TLB bar never worked, I got a "normal" folder icon in TLB with nothing in it.
BUT the lock folder thing works great, another TLB setting I never played with...
I think I'm only using 10% of the total possibilities of the product and yet I love it...

Hold down the SHIFT key while move folder back to TLB. Or drag forlder using the right mouse button.
I guess you create the shortcut to folder and don't move it.

thanks for the tip, but now that the folders are locked I will NEVER move them again !! :lol:
