Aero and TLB - CWBillow - 04-29-2008 I must have had something corrupted, because I uninstalled everything, started over, and now it all seems to be fine. Sorry about that... CB *********** I'm having a problem getting the TLB color/transparency settings to blend to the Aero. I think what I'm trying to do is have the TLB background transparent, but still have the icons show. But whenever I try to do this the icons go transparent as well. Is what I'm trying to do impossible right now? Regards, Chuck Billow - mploof - 10-21-2008 I am having the same problem, I cannot get the glass look for my toolbar...I have Aero enabled and every time I set the transparency everything in the launch bar fades. Can someone please give step-by-step instructions how to acheive the glass effect. Thank you. - Yuri Kobets - 10-22-2008 Quote:Can someone please give step-by-step instructions how to acheive the glass effect.First there is one restriction with the glass effect: you can't to apply the glass effect to the taskbar. How to apply glass effect to th menus: 1) Open the TLB Settings 2) Select the Effects tab 3) Move the slider to the right side To make the toolbar with the glass effect, open the Standalone TLB then: 1) Right-click the empty space of toolbar 2) Select "Toolbar properties" 3) Move the "Translucency" slider to the right side - mploof - 10-22-2008 Thank you, That worked perfectly, I have been messing with this setting through TLB Settings, I did not even see the Toolbar Properties...I actually like the Standalone toolbar set to bottom above my taskbar. Thanks again, Matt |
