Two taskbars, kinda' - Hans L - 09-25-2008 On my wife's computer, a Dell Dimension 4700 (Win XP Home), I have (purchased) and installed TLB (I have it on my puter too). I have installed v4.2.7 RC3 on both computers. On mine, everything is okay, but on hers, it looks like this with unlocked taskbar with two rows: Squiggly vertical line – TLB toolbar – *No* squiggly vertical line Squiggly vertical line – Icons for open programs – *No* squiggly line The two squiggly lines are not connected. One vertical line, space, the next vertical line. *No* squiggly line to the right of the TLB toolbar, so I cannot drag it to the left and make a two-row TLB toolbar. When I right-click on the taskbar, select Toolbars, and uncheck TLB, left on the first row of the taskbar is another blue bar as long as the taskbar. It is obviously the remnant of the TLB toolbar. You can see it, because it sticks up a little above the taskbar. Is there a setting that I can change to get the TLB tookbar to behave 'normally'? Regards, Hans L - Hans L - 09-28-2008 Would anyone have any thoughts about this? Hans L - Yuri Kobets - 09-28-2008 Please can you comment your problem with the screenshots? - Hans L - 10-03-2008 Here, finally, are the screenshots (in .tif files). [Edited] Hans L - Yuri Kobets - 10-03-2008 As I understand you want the toolbars configuration like this: Code: |truelaunchbar|tasks| So you need to drag the tasks list toolbar (the bottom toolbar). Take it by the chevron at the left side and drag to the right and top. Note you must to drag even there are no visual changes. I've attached the screenshots with the way you must to drag the tasks list. - Hans L - 10-03-2008 Worked like a charm. Thank you. Now, having said that, with the taskbar unlocked, I tried just this about 20 times before, and the chevron did not budge! In any event, all is now well. Regards, Hans L |
