"Recently accessed" menu not collecting recently a - zzappster - 10-31-2008 My "recently accessed" menu no longer collects recently accessed items. Nothing I access from a TLB menu gets added to the "recently accessed" menu. I tried adding a second "recently accessed" menu. It also did not work. I first noticed the problem using TLB 4.2.5. I updated to TLB 4.3 and the problem still exists. The system is an XP SP3+ system. Ideas? - Yuri Kobets - 10-31-2008 Quote:I tried adding a second "recently accessed" menu. I'll try to found the problem. - zzappster - 10-31-2008 Yep...I read the "no second recently accessed" after I posted. Anyway...I found the problem. Somehow the "tlbdata.xml" disappeared from the recently accessed folder. I deleted the menu item and folder and recreated the menu item and everything is fine. Thx for the assistance. Tried several times to Refresh it. Deleted it now. Do I just re-install it? [few minutes later] I see from recently accessed => properties that it points to: Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch and I don't use IE. I need it to show me what files I've accessed. Does "recently accessed" refer to places accessed via a browser?
