I can't see the IP when real IP is in a menu. I've tried changing the text colour.

What is the Windows version you are using? Do you use WindowBlidns?
Also try to right-click the plugin and select Appearance->Text Color.

I'm using Vista 32
I've already tried 'Text Color', it did not work
Yes, I use WindowBlinds (well spotted)
I tried setting Windowblinds back to default Aero skin and it fixed the problem! It stayed working when I changed to another skin, but disappeared again when I changed back to the skin I had used first. Strange.
