Black Screen on Boot - Aj - 07-03-2010
I've tested this on several systems and it consistently happens with TLB 4.4.10 Beta installed.
On startup, all you see is a black screen and white cursor. I've read elsewhere it's called the "Black Screen of Death" and has many causes.
I'm running w7ultimatex64 on Asus Laptop.

When you get the "Black Screen of Death"? Before you enter the password or after? Can you open the taskmanager via CTRL+SHIFT+ESC during "Black Screen of Death"?

I do you a password and the screen does appear. AFTER entering password, screen is black. I do have access to task manager.
*I tried the PrevX "fix", but it didn't help.
The TLB toolbar I used first had "sysmon, weather, screenshot, turnoff system"
I have to restart the system 1-3 times and it gives me back my screen. This happened on w7 Ultimate as well as W7 Home Premium on both an ASUS and HP Laptop. The HP only started acting this way as of last month.

So if you turn off the True Launch Bar you don't get the black screen, but with TLB you get the black screen. Is this correct?
Do you use TLB on the taskbar or standalone?
