I'd like to propose that when you post a new version an email notice goes out to all subscribers.
Is this possible?
If not, how about instigating 'Update Announcements' or 'New Version Releases' which will be the first place we look.

I'm using the google groups as mailing list. You can subscribe on True Launch Bar group and get emails about any update. On the truelaunchbar.com you can find the subscribe box, enter your email and press enter to subscribe to the True Launch Bar group. Or you can use RSS channel from this group.
Also I post updates into the twitter.
