Media Control + Artwork + Foobar - soja - 10-16-2013
Hi,
I've got the Media Control plugin using the Universal Player. I'm using Foobar (latest) and I have the foobar module. Everything works fine except that it doesn't display artwork.
The artwork command is specified in the skin, and when I view the Media Control properties, it shows the image of the note with the blue background, but it doesn't show anything when I'm playing music.
I have artwork embedded in the mp3 as the Front Cover for foobar to read. I also tried extracting it to the MP3's folder as album.jpg and folder.jpg, but it doesn't load those either.
Can you help?

Please can you try the attached the updated TLB Remote Control component for foobar? Just unzip and copy foo_tlbRC.dll into "components" subfolder in foobar installation folder.
It must read artwork from from mp3 files of from the folder. If it is working well, I'll publish this version on the website.

Yes! It works! And it works great! It reads the embedded image in the MP3 and everything.

Hi,
I found a bug that I believe is caused by foo_tlbRC and causes foobar to crash. It happens when playing certain files. It's 100% reproducible on those files, and goes away when I don't have the Media Control loaded. I'll bet it has something to do with the tags or header on those files.
What can I do to help fix the bug?

Well, I've found the bug. Please try the attached version. I hope this version will not crash.
