- Q Section - 02-17-2003 Hello Yuri and everybody, We have got our Weather Mon (v1.2 beta) to work just fine except that the value for pressure is wrong. We chose 'Inches of Mercury' but it is displaying "0.89 in HG". On the page with the data there is no "0.89" anywhere on the page. The page displays the value of 29.99 at the moment. The page we are using is: http://www.aws.com/aws_2001/asp/obsForecast.asp?id=PSDNA&obs=full Perhaps you would like to see the providers ini file. Here it is: [options] name = instaweather.com starturl=http://www.instaweather.com/ SendCookies = 0 ;TemperatureUnits values F or C TemperatureUnits = F ; PressureUnits values ; 0: hundreds of Pascals (hPa) ; 1: Atmosphere (atm) ; 2: Pounds per Square Inch (psi) ; 3: Inches of Mercury (inches Hg) ; 4: millimeters of Mercury (mm Hg) PressureUnits = 3 HavePressure=1 HaveHumidity=1 [Temperature] find0 = "Temperature" find1 = "" delim = "<" [Humidity] find0 = "Humidity" find1 = "" delim = "<" [Pressure] find0 = "Pressure" find1 = "" delim = "<" [Conditions] find0 = "Today" find1 = "<td" find2 = alt=" delim = " [Sun] Mostly Clear Mostly Sunny [Clouds] [Mix] [PartlyCloudy] Partly Cloudy [Lightning] [Rain] [Snow] [Wind] We are using the 'Full 32' skin and here is the skin.ini: [options] name=FULL 32 author=TrueSoft email=support@tsoftcentral.com url=http://www.truelaunchbar.com version = 2 [general] Background=bg.png iconPos = 1 1 [DataSlot0] param = Temperature SkinText = 0 rect = 0 0 68 13 LabelType = short LabelRect = 0 0 10 10 font=Verdana bold=1 italic=0 align=right ShowUnits = 1 [DataSlot1] param = Pressure SkinText = 0 rect = 0 12 68 22 font=Verdana bold=1 italic=0 align=right ShowUnits = 1 [DataSlot2] param = Humidity SkinText = 0 rect = 0 21 68 31 font=Verdana bold=1 italic=0 align=right ShowUnits = 1 [DataSlot3] param = Condition SkinText = 0 rect = 0 28 68 38 font=Verdana bold=1 italic=0 align=left [default icons] Sun=sun.png Clouds=clouds.png Lightning=storm.png mix=mix.png PartlyCloudy=pclouds2.png Rain=rain2.png Snow=snow.png [instaweather.ini] Overcast=sun.png Thanks for any help ![]() HMSS Q Section - Yuri Kobets - 02-17-2003 Modify provider file: Code: [Pressure] - Q Section - 02-17-2003 Hooray, Thanks Yuri, it worked! But.... before we did the modification the icon for the conditions all of a sudden dissapeared about an hour ago. ??? HMSS Q Section - Q Section - 02-17-2003 Yuri - update Early in the day the weather page we use has the word "Today" for the icon setting. Late in the day the word changes to "Remainder". Is there a way we can set the ini file to cover both eventualities? Thank you for all your great unselfish help. HMSS Q Section - Yuri Kobets - 02-17-2003 try this: Code: [Conditions] ![]() - Q Section - 02-17-2003 Perfect! Works great! Thank you so much for your help. It is because of you that we got interested in html and are now taking a tutorial and learning the basics. ![]() ![]() ![]() - Q Section - 02-20-2003 Hi again On our page in the daytime it says, "Today". In the afternoon it says, "Remainder of the day". In the nightime it says, "Tonight". How can we set the Providers' ini file to show for example a 'Partly Cloudy' daytime icon with sun and clouds and in the nightime a 'Partly Cloudy' icon with the moon and clouds? We have placed the correct icons in the Skins>Full 32 Custom>Icons file and have selected the 'Full 32 Custom' in the WM. One more thing - we have seen at times more than the four choices for Temp, Humid, Press and Cond in the properties box but now there are just the four. Where are the other ones? Actually we would not mind having a double-wide WM in the TLB with ALL the information. Thanks for all the help. As soon as it gets right we plan on registering, of course. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
