how about a *simple* imap checker?... a list of folders and the number of unread emails beside them. it would be nice to have a version separate from mail monitor in order to avoid un-needed features (like filters, previewing, etc.) that more resource aware users would not use. i wont call mail monitor bloated because there are many users who will use its features but it would still be nice to have a second stripped down version that only has a counter of unread mail.
