Weathermon has stopped displaying the current temperature, this has only happen over the last 2 days (or so)

I haven't change anything, the value is on the weather page, has the xml changed and now the script cant find it ??

All other weather functions are updating as normal... ???

Anyone else seeing the same problem ?

The format of the web page had changed. Here's an updated provider file. Copy this one to your \TrueLaunchBar\Plugins\weathermon\providers directory, renaming it to wunderground.ini to overwrite the previous version, then refresh your weather monitor (right click -> Refresh).

Hmm, I tried this, and all I can get is 102 F - which I am quite sure is wrong - by nearly 70 degrees!

If I switch to the WU Tonight file, it works fine.

I'm having trouble duplicating this bug. Can you send the url of the page you have your WM using?

For WU :
http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin....y=11003

For Yahoo:
http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USNY0464_f.html

Both showing the wrong temp

- Guest - 04-06-2003

mine is showing the wrong temp too. I doubt it's 134 in los angeles right now :-) Also...when I changed the settings to celcius...it showed the temp that was in farenheit on the site, so this could be a temp solution

ok, well i used that .ini file and it worked fine, now all thats wrong is the tonight and tomorrow ones don't work at all and just say '-17*' which it obviously is not, as i live in australia

so if someone could post an updated .ini file it would be greatly appreciated
Wink

I don't see a way to extract the relevant information from the weather underground page. Maybe the format's changed? I can easily create something similar for the Yahoo Weather page though. It doesn't have information for "tonight", but does have a 5 day forecast. Maybe I can come up with one provider with a limited (conditions and temps) 5 day forecast using Yahoo. Pretty sure I can do at least 3 days....

well there is an option under the providers tab that says 'weatherunderground today' and 'weatherunderground tomorrow' and at the time of writing my last post, they werent working, but now it is all fine, however i would be interested in maybe trying some other providers if that is possible likeYahoo! as you just mentioned or MSNBC That is area specific of course, but also i would like the option of deg C as thats what i'm used to

Weather Monitor can convert fahrenheit into celcius automatically. Just right click on WM, select properties, and go to the Connection & Units tab. You can change the units here.

yer thanks i know that, just i was asking if you make new providers, could you make that option possible?
