I downloaded about six new skins to test, but some don't show up in the drop-down list. I've made sure I have the updated program. I've rebooted numerous times. I've made sure they are in the correct folder (plugins | weather | skins). The folder clearly lists nine skins, but only seven show up (I'm missing Simple White and Weather 16--does anyone know if there are problems with those?)

If you look at the skin.ini file for the skins that don't show up, you will probably find a line that says:
version = 1
only skins with version = 2 will show up in the list.
You can try changing version to 2 and see if they work. My guess is, though, that there are some incompatibilities with the current weather monitor version.

Changing "Version" from 1 to 2 will work with Weather 16, but Simple White was written for an earlier version of Weather Monitor and its format is no longer supported.
Yuri: Would it be possible to remove the skins written for older plugin version (that no longer work) from the skins library?

Thanks! I thought I was going crazy. I changed Weather 16 to Version 2 and it worked fine.
