- agapeincognito - 08-25-2003 Windows XP SP2, IE 6 SP1 TrueLaunch Bar 2.2.0.7 Beta Plugins in use: Spacer 2.0/Command Line 1.0 Apps running in memory: RemotelyAnywhere Symantec AntiVirus CE 8.0 TimeCalendar 1.6.6 Haven't touched anything for a week except adding the Command Line plugin. Now randomly have various Explorer.exe crashes, at least twice a day. Remove the plugin and everything seems to be okay again. Don't know for sure, but it seems to happen shortly after I use WINDOWS+E key combo to use the built-in Start > Run command. For example, I might use WIN+E, then type in a path, start browsing the subfolder structure, then explorer crashes. Can't verify that it has happened in each instance. I do know that it only happens with the plugin enabled. Thanks. - agapeincognito - 08-25-2003 Found the following in the Event Logs. Same DLL each time. Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x000085c0. Hope that helps... |
