- player1 - 10-30-2003 what does related links do? i right clicked on ie shortcut and added mozilla shortcut in related dialog, and apparently it doesn't do anything? also i have a folder shortcut and it pops up a menu on mouse hover, which is fine. but when i move to another shortcut , the menu doesn't go away, is it a bug? - mark76uk - 10-30-2003 Hello, I've never tried it myself, but here's the info on 'Related.' I looked it up because you got me curious. As for the menus. Well, mine pop-up on a hover, then go away if I move over a different shortcut or menu pop-up. No doubt someone will offer good help. I can't alter my settings to get the effect you describe. /Mark - player1 - 10-30-2003 wow that was fast... i have "auto popup first level menu," "popup menu on mouse hover," and "auto close menu on mouse leave" checked, with 0ms, 500ms, and 0ms respectively (btw the minimium hover time for "popup menu..." can't be less than 500?) i'm using win2k, tlb 2.2 - mark76uk - 10-30-2003 These are my settings: Ticked: Auto popup first level menu 200 Popup menu on mouse hover 200 Auto close menu on mouse leave 1000 Unticked: Run shortcuts on mouse hover Use auto-close only for menus WinXP Home True Launch Bar 2.2.0.7 Beta - player1 - 10-30-2003 ah may be the beta fixed the 2.2 bug.... just my guess and the minumium time for popup menu is 50... and i tried to set it to 0.... - shapeshifter - 10-31-2003 On my TLB, I have several menus and one shortcut. My menus auto-open, too, and if one is opened, it doesn't close automatically when I hover over the shortcut (even though they are set to auto close on mouse leave). It does auto close when I move the mouse away from my TLB (for instance onto the desktop, an application, or a different toolbar on my taskbar). It seems there's a communication error somewhere, either between us and Yuri, or between Yuri and the code, regarding what constitutes "mouse leave". To clarify, I think "mouse leave" in this situation should be relative to the menu, and it sounds like player1 and mark76uk agree. - Yuri Kobets - 10-31-2003 shapeshifter Version 2.2.0.7 have option Use auto-close only for menus. This is exactly you asked - shapeshifter - 10-31-2003 Quote:Version 2.2.0.7 have option Use auto-close only for menus. This is exactly you asked Ok, I see what I was doing wrong now. |
