would be great if i can (double) click on the menu button and open the default shortcut

I second this feature request. It would be useful for creating menus such as for Internet, when 9 times out of 10 you go to the menu to open a new browser.
Another nice thing would be to have 2-section buttons, something like the Back button in IE where clicking the main part of the button starts some program and clicking the right-hand edge opens a menu.

it is nice that some other people want that too.
so i am hopefull
i need this for virtual folders, i put my partitions in it.
a launchbar with C:, D:, and so on... at the moment i can´t open the folder with a double left klick, only the first menu has the option -> do not expand.
