Taskbar icon corruption when not default

In Vista, using the latest TLB, I cannot change any of the icons in TLB from their default icon. If I do, the colors seems to get jumbled up. Changing back to the original icon makes it look OK again.

I thought this might be Windowblinds, but it behaves just the same without WB loaded.

Using:
Vista Ultimate
AMD X2 4200
Nvidia 8000GTX
2 GB RAM
1900x1200x32 desktop

what TLB version do you use?
