i have found programs, that
a)Kill the systray = available here - does not have source code though
b)shows the systray on screen elsewhere = available here - includes source code

Just found how to remove systray in XP Pro: Open gpedit.msc then open:
User Configuration->Administrative templates->"Start Menu and Taskbar"

Set the value "Hide the notification area" into enabled. After reboot systray will be killed Wink

You can also disable it with TweakUI.

Taskbar and start menu > [] Show taskbar notification icons.
