Me again! This time with a very minor suggestion. I have installed the Turn off computer plugin and I see that when you clich on it (if you have selected confirm) you get the classic windows shutdown box.

However it may be more effective (For XP users) to have the option to be presented with the newer XP dialogue box with the standby, turnoff and restart buttons.

Would it be possible to include this option in the next version of this plugin?

yes I found closewin and it does exactly what I was asking for. However, somebody else asked me about this and I can't find closewin again on this site - I know that I stubled across it by accident and I think it is well hidden.

Why have you not put it with the plugins? I realise that it is not actually a plugin but maybe a link on the plugin page?

CloseWin is part of the True Small Tools collection, and does not require TLB to run. There is a link on the TrueLaunchBar main page to the TrueSoft web page (bottom of left-hand column). I agree that a link on the plugin page would be useful. To save you some hunting, CloseWin is available on this page.
