This is the way the menu opens normally...

This is the way I would like to have it open... the red rectangle represents the menu with the icons going left to right. Instead of opening down in the screen shot above.

Yes, this is possible (see the attached screenshot).

* Right-click in menu and select "Customize menu"
* Set the "View Mode" into "Multicolumn text menu"
* Set the "Columns" option into something big (for example 20)

Is there a way to only show icons? this is how it looks now...

Id like to remove the space in the rectangles. And have it be a single layer instead of multilayered...I think switching to show only icons would help. But everything I'm trying isn't getting the desired result.

Thanks for the help by the way...I bought this program a while ago and is absolute Godsend for Windows.

To show the Icons only, select the "View mode" into the "Icons only".

Also you can try to set the "Maximum menu width" option into value < 300. This can decrease the column width (default value is the 300)
