I'm wondering how much ram this bar takes up. Does anyone know what it's named in the Task Manager -> Processes?
TrueLaunchBar is not a self running application, it runs off the explorer shell

and it only adds 3-4 MB of RAM to whatever explorer.exe is using, for me anyway Big Grin
It depends largely on which (if any) plugins you are running, the size and number of your toolbars, and whether or not you use skins. I use the majority of the available plugins, have one fairly extensive toolbar and one minimal bar, and I skin everything; my TLB configuration only adds about 2.5 megs to the explorer process. I'd think a good average rule would be that TLB uses easily less than 5 Mb of memory.
Using 3.5Mb here, with a fully skinned setup over 4 toolbars loaded with 20+ plugins and many virtual folders.

Hence the fact I continue to use TLB. I've yet to find another solution that offers me the same flexibility in such a small memory footprint. Can't find one anywhere else! Big Grin
You should not use the built in task manager as it does not show what DLLs are hooked to explorer.exe it's also dangerous to trust the windows task manager too much as there can be many programs such as unwanted spyware hiding attatched to some programs. For example you can find one freeware program here: http://members.lycos.co.uk/nirsoft1/ this guy has made some very nice mini utilities that don't even need install.
