Something like Quick Start

That's fine! I didn't find it, and in fumbling around I created some problems.

Thanks.

EDIT:
It's a good tutor, and thanks for the link. I did a google search for tlbtutor and it was no help. Am I the only one who never found it?

The link to this flash you can find on the TLB home page (the bold text under download and buy buttons).

PS. please don't edit posts. just add new post. when you edit, we don't get notifications. So I can miss something.

Thanks.
I checked the rendering of www.truelaunchbar.com with Internet Explorer and Firefox, and didn't see any TUTOR. I also searched using the FIND command.
???

Yuri, I am still seeing some occasional crashes, probably due to impossible combinations of folders within folders. Each crash consists of a flashing white screen, with TLB in the upper left corner and a crazy cursor. To regain control I must do a hard shutdown and reboot.

Now that I know more, should I completely uninstall TLB and start fresh?

To start fresh you don't need to reinstall TLB. There are two ways:
1) Open the toolbar folder and delete all files including hidden.
The toolbar folder can be opened when you right-click the empty space of toolbar and select "Open". Or by default this folder is %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Note you need to close TLB before deleting files.

2) Close TLB. Open TLB but hold down CTRL+SHIFT when click "True launch Bar..." from the toolbars menu. TLB will show the select toolbar dialog box where you can select the empty folder for your toolbar.

TLB store all settings inside the toolbar folder, so selecting the empty folder is beginning from the start Wink

I'll answer on your other post in bugs soon.

A warning to newbies like me - notaguru - 06-14-2007

I did a lot of early experimenting, and made a very serious mistake. While trying different configurations, I was dragging one folder into another, trying it, then making changes.

At some point I accidently nested folders that included tlbinfo and setup files. This is potentially unstable, and in my case caused some spectacular crashes consisting of a flashing white screen, and the TLB across the upper left.

Otherwise - this is the best utility I've ever purchased!

I accept approved several searches which were not awfully acknowledged for me, because I usually use byword searching

The address for the tutorial must have changed because the link is no longer valid.
