- NJKA - 01-15-2009 Been using the True Lunch Bar for at least 4 years, so if that means I'm a new user then yes I'm a new user. If you know how you can dock several toolbars (using the standalone version) as a single unit please enlighten me. I played around with the standalone version but I could not get it to display several folders docked as a single autohide/always-on-top toolbar with each folder representing a single resizable group within the toolbar. Basicaly I need the standalone True Lunch Bar to work like a rebar control, in much the way the windows task bar works. Regards Neal - chaznet - 01-15-2009 From your description, it's not clear what you're trying to accomplish -- screen shots might help. Best of luck to you! - Yuri Kobets - 01-15-2009 NJKA Wrote:Sadly, Windows 7 does not fully support Docked Toolbars as it does in Windows 2000, XP and Vista. It appears you can only have toolbars docked in the taskbar area and not to the sides of the desktop. :x :x :xYes, you are right. In the Windows 7 it is impossible to create the standard toolbars ![]() - Zouden - 01-15-2009 Is there any disadvantage to using the standalone version? I'm trying it out now and I really like it. I used to have two rows on my taskbar, but now I've moved my TLB to an auto-hide bar on the left side of the screen. So far it's working out great. - stroute - 01-22-2009 I am using TLB v4.3 with WIN7 with absolutely no problems. All functions work. I don't see any compatibility issues. - souledge - 02-10-2009 Can TLB work in Windows Server 2008 R2? - Yuri Kobets - 02-12-2009 souledge Wrote:Can TLB work in Windows Server 2008 R2?Not nested, But I guess there are no problems if Windows Server 2008 R2 have the taskbar ![]() - kwickone - 02-25-2009 souledge Wrote:Can TLB work in Windows Server 2008 R2? I am using on Windows 2008 Std (not R2 beta) with no issues. Works great! - kwickone - 03-07-2009 And on Win 7 beta, no issues here. See screenshot. - kwickone - 05-04-2009 Windows 7 RC1 is about to be released tomorrow to the public. Hopefully this will be a good test whether TLB will work as we all need it. I plan on downloading it and testing when I get a chance. - Leiana - 07-10-2009 I found a link how to enable Quick Launch in Windows 7. Got TLB working perfectly. I am using Windows 7 Build 7100 downloaded yesterday http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/888-quick-launch-enable-disable.html Leiana |
