I haven't found any postings on the following issue on the forum, so I'm not sure if it's just me ....?
By default, my settings are such that only icons display without the text descriptions. However, for some of my icons, I do display the icon and the text (using the cool new feature of v2.10.16 RC3). When I go into the "TLB Settings" > "Skins", and modify the font via the "Menu Font" option - my changes do not appear in the menu itself when I save/apply changes (although they do show in the mini preview in the Setting dialog box). I still see the default Ariel 8 font. The "Std menu font" checkbox is unchecked.
Could someone check this and let me know if they are having the same problem.

Which option are you choosing for the view mode, "Icons With Text" or "Text Menu"???
For me changing the menu's text does not work unless i use the Text Menu with the text to the right of the menu, instead of under

I use the "Icons with Text" option. According to your comments I then tried the "Text menu" view option ... and walla it works, I see my customized fonts!
So I guess then that this must be a bug inthe "Icons with Text" view mode! When I am in the "Icons with Text" mode, the fonts of "Titles" do change according to my customized settings, it's just the actual icon fonts which don't change!
Does the forum owner follow these bugs or should I send it to someone specifically ?

i am not sure if this is a bug or not
i think that text should stay the same otherwise if you have the text too large it would look too much out of proportion
but Yuri does come to these forums alot

I can't see why one should be able to tweak his/her font in the Text Only mode, but not in the other view modes? My problem is that system font is slightly too big for the menu display. I'd like to be able to choose a smaller fonts (size 6) so that I get as many characters I can into the smallest width possible.

i think it is left like that because the rest of the windows shell displays icons that way, but if yuri could add this option, it could solve your problem
thus making TLB even greater
