Hi there,

This post will sound like a complaint, but I do love TLB really Smile

A while back I posted a message because I was unhappy with the way TLB currenly handles loading the contents of a Virtual Folder when you mouse over it.

My problem is that I have a number of huge directories on this system and if I accidentally mouse over one I can basically go and make a cup of tea while TLB thrashes away creating a menu for it.

I believe the solution is for TLB to use a separate thread for loading the contents of the folder and terminate the thread immediately if you move the mouse away from the directory (or based on some other trigger).

Is there any news on implementing this feature? I would vote for it over any UI improvements / added functionality.

Best regards,

matt.

....and presumably the feature TLB settings|advanced|background loading Folders and icons doesn't do what you wanted?

I agree. I think it's probably the last major revision the proggie really needs. ;-)

Virtual Folders have already threaded :0
You only need turn it on go to the TLB Settings|Advanced tab and set Background Load options. Wink

Oh, that's awesome! I didn't see that. Now TLB is even faster than the regular explorer menus!

Thanks Yuri!
