Animation acting funny - Fruityth1ng - 04-06-2005 A good day, Using the latest beta (3.2.4) this "emailanim.png" produces the result shown in "example.gif" after a reboot. So, on first load or a manual reload of the animation strip, it (usually, not always) appears correctly, but after a reboot, it's shifted again. I didn't make the icon myself, just the animation. Sorry Kind regards and thanks, Herman van Boeijen. (I'm using XP-pro+sp2) - Yuri Kobets - 04-06-2005 Be sure that toolbar folder and the plugin file (something like Mail Monitor.tlbplugin) are not write protected and you have permissions to change files there. - Fruityth1ng - 04-09-2005 Thanks! apparently that's not it though: I'm admin on this PC, and all folders and files are (and were) not write-protected (they had the archive attribute set, but I cleared that and it didn't help) Could it be something else? Could you perhaps try the file I attached on your own copy? (It's a 24-bit png file) Tnx! - Yuri Kobets - 04-10-2005 I cannot reproduce the bug with this animation. Please can you tell me the FULL path where animation is located on your computer? If you don't want tell this information here PM me of write email (support@truelaunchbar.com) tnx! np :) - Fruityth1ng - 04-10-2005 "E:\My documents\icons\_icons\emailanim.png" (without the parentheses, with them, it didn't find the file at all) might it be the underscore in there? still odd tnx again! - Yuri Kobets - 04-10-2005 Mail Monitor keep the path in the properties after restart of refresh? Do you can to change other properties? Yup - Fruityth1ng - 04-10-2005 Yes, the path is kept fine. What other properties do you mean? I suspect it might be going wrong at loading the image at XP startup, is the animation cached in any way? I'll try reinstalling TLB entirely to see if it fixes it. tnx! Herman. - Yuri Kobets - 04-11-2005 reinstalling TLB don't help. Try Mail Monitor v1.12 tnx! - Fruityth1ng - 04-11-2005 Truly weird, still the same strangeness, Sorry -is there other info/files/anything I could send you? Herman - Yuri Kobets - 04-12-2005 Is the drive E: (where animation located) local or network? - Fruityth1ng - 04-12-2005 It's a local drive. |
