When I try to add the shut down button from TLB, it turns out blank...it eventually doesn't appear at all without any error message

Sounds like the file tlbplus.dll is missing. I have attached it to this message.
Check that this file is present in your True Launch Bar directory. If not copy this file and Reboot.

Copying do not help. It must to be registered (regsvr32 tlbplus.dll). You can install version 1.1.0.17 and then 1.1.0.18
