I've had problems with the clock. In most of the options the clock is unreadable. When it is readable. It seems to take much room horrizontally than needed which causes the double arrows to appear when they don't look necessary.

I have no idea what determines the width of the clock... Indeed with certain skins (eg. the default) it takes up more horizontal space than necessary.
About the repeated dayname in the tooltip, this is a known issue. Read about it in this thread.
