Just curious -- what is 'tlbhost'? I have the 64-bit version of Vista but don't know what that new feature is... Thanks

This is the standalone True Launch Bar. Allow to run TLB without explorer. You can find shortcut in the programs->True Launch Bar.

Thanks for the explanation... Is there an advantage to using TLB Host over the other way?

TLB Host have some features that standard toolbar don't have:
* Enhanced autohide
* Theme selecting - looks like the second taskbar

But note that tlbHost takes more memory then when using standard toolbars.
So if you need this features you can use tlbHost.

Wow... having it look like the taskbar is great, very slick Smile

It doesn't seem to use the same transparancy as the regular taskbar though, the way it has transparancy without the icons being transparant, is there a setting for this somewhere? (other than the regular TLB transparancy)

How much more memory does it use?

The vista style transparency will be added soon.

This is depends of your TLB configuration. Usually tlbHost takes 10-20 MB. When tlb in the taskbar it takes 3-6 MB. All that numbers are from one of my computer. You probably get other results.

Thanks for the info -- looks great, takes about the same amount of memory as the Sidebar -- but much more useful.

One thing I've noticed with the TLBHost is that menu text is centered, instead of left justified. I've looked for a setting, but haven't been able to locate it...?

Here's one:

Hey Yuri. I found a bug in tlb while in vista. I added the games folder to tlb as a menu. And if u set it to view thumbnails it displays the boxed images like in the games area of the vista start menu. However these boxes are to wide. TLB seems to stretch them width wise to keep the proportion of the image. Is there anyway to fix this. I enclosed a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Weird {// text being displayed within virtual folders for shortcuts that have hot keys assigned to them.

I have also the centered menu items "bug" as "chaznet" wrote about earlier, and I can't find any settings to revert to the left-alignment that I had from the previous versions.

Same problem for me with menus centered.
