I wonder if with START KILLER and PRESSTART a new tool
TRAYKILLER could be made that would remove the system tray.
Just about all items can be placed on True Launch Bar so perhaps this would be a good new small tool.

You can remove the system tray with Microsoft's TweakUI ("hide notification icons").
