Could in future versions of plugins, could you not create an Add\Remove entry for every plugin so it only would have TLB core and Startkiller , we can now uninstall plugins through the Component Manager Wink
This is already the case with the latest Component Manager in TLB 3.0... The plugin entries in your "Add/Remove Software" window are still from the TLB 2.0 period Smile

I recently completely removed TLB with all plugins and made sure no TLB entries were left in "Add/Remove Software". Then I installed TLB 3.0 and retrieved the plugins with the Component Manager... no plugin entries appeared...
Ah yes i did not think to install them through the component manager :p

but could in a future version, could the Update manager save the installer to file instead of in some sort of cache so i don't have to download it everytime ???
Take a look in this directory Wink
C:\Program Files\TrueLaunchBar\updates\bin

It contains all the files downloaded by Component Manager... I haven't found out what happens when an update is available, will it overwrite the existing installation file, or will a new file be created...?

It overwrite Sad BTW you can write bat file to install all plugins. If you add /S parameter then all will be installed in silent mode.

Well, I think overwriting is the best option, otherwise the user would end up with tons of installation files and he doesn't even know they're cached there, since there is no indication of it anywhere...

Maybe you could include a Clear cache button to the Options section in Component Manager, just to make the user aware of the cached files and provide a way to free disk space. But I'm drifting off-topic now... Wink
there ya go, learn something new everyday Big Grin

OK, so aswell as "Download And Install Button", just a Download Button so to install at later time ???
